More about Peter
Peter started his career in Financial Services in 1997 as an Adviser Trainee with Chase de Vere moving into management and establishing their Birmingham office. In 2005 Peter joined Hargreaves Landsdown to assist in building their presence in the Midlands. He then joined Jobson James Financial Services Ltd in August 2007, which became part of the Charles Stanley Group plc in May 2011.
Peter studied Economic and Social History at the University of Birmingham and continues to enjoy reading and studying history, especially local history. In more recent times, Peter has been building on his vocational qualifications and in 2014 he achieved Chartered Financial Planner status and hopes in the near future to become a Fellow of the Personal Financial Society.
Peter was formerly a keen oarsman, rowing for his School and the University of Birmingham, amongst others, and now enjoys swimming, sailing and hiking in his spare time. Since 2010 he has been able to enjoy some of these pastimes with his wife, Charlotte. He has also been involved in the running of the renowned Moseley Farmer Market (featured on Radio 4's "Farming Today" programme) and is a regular and valued member of the Charles Stanley Birmingham Office quiz and football teams.
