Frequently asked questions

A financial coach can answer any questions you might have to help you understand your financial situation better – however, you’ll need to make your own decisions. On the other hand, a financial adviser will listen to understand your needs and wants, and then recommend solutions to help achieve them.

Our financial coaches have a deep passion for helping clients better understand their financial situation – empowering them to save and invest with confidence. They spend their time listening to clients, answering questions and providing practical guidance on the next best steps.

Unlike financial advisers, a financial coach doesn’t have to be registered with the UK regulator – the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) – as they aren’t allowed to provide specific financial advice. However, many financial coaches are qualified financial advisers.
