More about Christopher
Christopher spent 22 years in the Royal Navy as a Chartered Engineer, mostly in nuclear-powered submarines. On leaving the Navy in 1994 he joined Laws & Co in Bristol, subsequently part of the Greig Middleton Group. He was invited to join Charles Stanley in 2001 to run the Bath office but stepped aside from this aspect in 2013 to concentrate on his role as an investment manager. His clients include individuals, families, small companies/businesses, trusts, charities and pension funds. Christopher has a BSc in Marine Engineering (from the Royal Naval Engineering College), a post-graduate Diploma in Nuclear Technology (Royal Naval College, Greenwich) and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments. He is a trustee of the Princess Anne’s Charities Trust and Whitehill Chase Foundation Trust. Past passions such as sailing, polo and horses have passed by the wayside but tennis, ski-ing and country pursuits continue. Christopher is married with two sons and lives in North Wiltshire.
