More about Andrew
Andrew Clifford has over 18 years of experience providing financial planning advice to Private Clients, Trusts and Corporate Bodies. Based in the Guildford office, he supports the investment managers provide a comprehensive advice service to Charles Stanley’s direct clients.
He graduated from University of Wales College Cardiff in 1993 and joined the Medical Sickness Society in 1995, which subsequently was purchased by Wesleyan Assurance Society, following a short stint working on a financial trade publication. Having worked for almost 12 years for Medical Sickness, he moved to Pannells Financial Planning (formerly PKF Financial Planning), providing advice to clients of PKF (UK) LLP and latterly BDO (UK) LLP accountants and business adviser in Guildford before joining Charles Stanley in December 2013.
Andrew has extensive knowledge of working with high net worth clients and SMEs, as well as a specialisation in medical and dental professionals working within the NHS Pension scheme, providing advice services to other professional partnerships of accountants and solicitors.
Outside work, Andrew spends much of his time, with his wife ferrying his children to the myriad of swimming and cross country events at the weekends, as well as the endless parties. However, in the spare time available, he regularly enjoys mountain biking in Swinley Forest and less regularly now skiing. Having recently purchased his first family tent, Andrew will be looking forward to some rain free weekends.
