The Oxford office looks after private clients, financial advisers, trustees of charities, solicitors, accountants, and corporate clients. We manage investment portfolios including ISAs, SIPPs and other pensions as well as offering traditional investment management services.

Simon is the Branch Manager for the Oxford office and manages portfolios predominantly for private clients, Trusts and Charities. He graduated with an honours degree in rural estate management from the Royal Agricultural College Cirencester in 1995. After two years Simon moved to Oxford where he joined Barclays and in 2005 he moved to Charles Stanley.

Sara has a degree in Financial Economics from the University of Leicester, brings expertise in wealth management gained during her career with Thesis Asset Management in Guildford where she obtained the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment's highest qualification, the Masters in Wealth Management. She then spent two and a half years in the Abingdon office of Redmayne-Bentley before the team joined Charles Stanley in May 2014. Outside the office, Sara is an active Community First Responder attending 999 Ambulance calls where there is a life threatening situation, such as a patient losing consciousness or suffering a heart attack or breathing difficulties. As volunteers based in their local communities, the aim of a CFR is to provide early basic life support ahead of the arrival of an ambulance.

Giles started his career with Barclays Trust Company after leaving school in 1978 and joined Charles Stanley in 1984 working as a dividend analyst looking after institutional clients in the London office. The Oxford office opened in 1994 and Giles relocated in 1995. He is now one of the longest serving staff members and looks after private clients, trusts, and charities.

Harminder graduated with a degree in Economics from University of Kent in 2006. After graduating she briefly worked at Prudential in their pension division before moving to Charles Stanley. She has successfully completed the CISI Masters in Wealth Management and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investment. Harminder manages portfolios for private clients, Charities and Trusts. In her spare time she is an active leader of her local community club and helps organise their youth projects.

John is a Chartered Accountant who, specialises in managing portfolios comprising collective funds of Unit Trusts, open ended investment companies (OEICs) and Investment Trusts. He has considerable expertise in this area and for seventeen years, up to 2001, managed the Private Client Division of Perpetual plc, investing on behalf of clients in Perpetual collective funds. Since joining Charles Stanley in 2002 he has been able to choose collective investments from the entire range available within the market.

Giles manages investment portfolios for private clients, pensions, family trusts and charities. He specialises in Funds and Investment Trusts. After graduating from Leeds University, in 2006, with a degree in Accountancy and Finance, he stayed up North working for HSBC - where he completed his Financial Adviser and Mortgage Adviser qualifications. He joined Charles Stanley in 2010, completed the CISI Masters in Wealth Management in 2011 and became a Chartered Fellow of the Institute for Securities & Investment in 2013. Giles is a father of one and enjoys tennis, golf and walking in Scotland.

George has been employed in the Financial Services Industry since graduating from university with a degree in Economic (with Business Administration) in 1999. George worked for Invesco Perpetual in Henley on Thames prior to joining Charles Stanley in 2008. A keen sportsman in his youth - selected for the British University Athletics Team. Whilst an athletics comeback is 'pencilled in' for the Torino 2013 World Masters Games (over 35's), George accepts that future athletic medals may be limited to the fathers race at his children's school sports day!

Rebecca has worked in the financial services sector since 2011, joining Charles Stanley as a Trainee Investment Adviser in May 2014. In 2013 Rebecca completed the CISI qualification in Investment Operations and in August 2016 she completed the Diploma in Private Client Advice. Rebecca is now studying towards her final investment management exams. Rebecca lives just outside of Fernham and in her spare time enjoys trips up to Scotland to spend time with her family, socialising with friends and having Summer weekends away to Sandbanks.

Hayley graduated from Bath with an English Literature Degree in 2012. She joined Charles Stanley in February 2014 and has completed the CISI Level 3 Certificate in Investment Operations and the CISI Level 4 Diploma in Investment Advice. She is currently studying towards the CISI Masters in Wealth Management to become a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments. On weekends in between studies, Hayley spends time catching up with friends, watching live music and has been known in the past to take to the stage herself as a singer in a soul band!

Ria joined Charles Stanley in early 2011 after working as an Insolvency Administrator. Ria heads up the Administration Team in the Oxford office and is currently undertaking a Diploma in Leadership and Management. She coordinates all events and seminars for the Oxford office, assisted by our Marketing department, and manages all aspects of the office including monitoring client’s suitability, assisting Investment Managers with client matters, trading and Facilities management. In her spare time, Ria enjoys baking – being dubbed the ‘Mary Berry of Charles Stanley!’ and spending time with friends and family. She is a fan of all sports and when possible, makes trips to Oxford United and Arsenal.

Darrell joined the Charles Stanley Intermediary Sales team in March 2016. Prior to that Darrell worked at a number of high profile companies including most recently with MetLife where he spent four years as a Business Development Manager covering Gloucestershire, Wiltshire & Herefordshire as well as a number of key national accounts. Other companies represented include Towry Law, Friends Provident, Eagle Star/Zurich. Darrell’s role at MetLife was widespread, dealing in all areas of pensions and investments as well as shaping IFA businesses and providing technical support. Darrell's role within Charles Stanley is to focus on the development of Financial Adviser business across Oxford, Bath, Bristol, Wiltshire & South Wales working closely with the Investment Managers in the Oxford, Cardiff, Bath & Cirencester offices. Outside of work Darrell is married to Lyn with adult children Kelly and Russell. Darrell enjoys all sports especially golf, rugby, cricket and walking his German Shepherd “Seve” (see the golf link). Darrell has successfully completed the “3 Peaks Challenge Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike & Snowdon in 24 Hours” and Cheltenham Rotary Club “Cheltenham Circular Walk 26 miles”.

Jessica lives in Witney, Oxfordshire. Upon completing her A levels in Maths, Economics and English Literature in 2016, she went on to start work in a local bridal shop before becoming a front of house team member at the local leisure centre. Jessica joined the Oxford Office in March 2017 as a Branch Assistant. Jessica provides support to the office with all administrative matters, including client queries, telephone calls and meetings. Jessica spends most of her spare time at the Witney 2120 Air cadet Squadron, helping out the younger community as a Sergeant again furthering her skills in a range of different ways.
