More about Lawrence
On completion of a Higher National Diploma in Business & Finance, Lawrence was enticed into the world of investment management and joined the Birmingham firm Stock Beech & Co, Stockbrokers in 1985. Ever since, he has been advising and managing investments for private individuals, pensions and charities. Lawrence later went on to found the Birmingham Office of Charles Stanley in 2005, having previously been a Director of Greig Middleton and Gerrard. Always living in Solihull, just outside Birmingham, Lawrence has been a keen supporter of the regions charitable causes. Involvement in Rotaract and Round Table, before becoming too old, raised a lot of money and was a lot of fun. After serving five year’s County Treasurer to The County of Birmingham's Scout Association he is now an honorary Vice President and Treasurer to his local Scout Group. In his spare time Lawrence enjoys family life, membership of The National Trust, playing tennis badly at his local Tennis Club and retrieving his dog from picnic baskets!
