Glenn joined Charles Stanley in 2018 and builds relationships with professional advisers and their underlying client mix, including entrepreneurs and business owners at various stage of their journey. Glenn was previously a Director at Kleinwort Benson (2012-2017), before which he worked at Schroders Cazenove (2008-2012). Glenn sits on Charles Stanley’s Responsible Investment Committee, he is a Board Member on the Action for Animal Health Development Board for the international charity The Brooke, and Glenn holds a PhD in English Literature from the University of Leicester.

Sebastian Lewis

Co-founder of YourBusinessNumber.com

Sebastian started his career in equity derivatives for the ex Barclays De Zoete Wedd team (XBZ) trading Pan European Index and stock options/futures on behalf of hedge funds and investment banks. Sebastian then founded his first tech company, Mettrr, one of the first entrepreneurs to utilise crowdfunding he completed the first ever UK online investor share exit on Crowdcube. 

Sebastian has since co-founded travel startup JustHootIt.com, a friendly gambling platform, Plucky.com and WhatsApp number provider, YourBusinessNumber.com. Raised over £15m in startup equity from UK/US HNW's and Venture Capital Funds and scaled teams in product, marketing and technical development around the world. 

George Lineker

George Lineker

Co-founder of YourBusinessNumber.com

George started his career by founding Getsung.com - an online platform for unsigned singers to showcase their talent. 

Whilst part of the founding team on the Flipper app, he saw a gap in the market to provide fast and affordable phone numbers for chat apps co-founding YourBusinessNumber.com, now the leading WhatsApp Business phone number provider which recently went past 10,000 monthly subscribers - raising just over £1 million from investors in the process.

Henry Whorwood

Head of Research and Consultancy, Beauhurst

Henry started and runs Beauhurst’s Research & Consultancy department which produces research on the UK’s startups and scaleups. He has worked on briefs for clients including the British Business Bank, HM Treasury, BEIS and Innovate UK. Henry is an expert on business finance, entrepreneurship and innovation and regularly gives presentations on market trends at events around the country. He studied Classics at the University of Oxford.
