Glenn joined Charles Stanley in 2018 and builds relationships with professional advisers and their underlying client mix, including entrepreneurs and business owners at various stage of their journey. Glenn was previously a Director at Kleinwort Benson (2012-2017), before which he worked at Schroders Cazenove (2008-2012). Glenn sits on Charles Stanley’s Responsible Investment Committee, he is a Board Member on the Action for Animal Health Development Board for the international charity The Brooke, and Glenn holds a PhD in English Literature from the University of Leicester.
Head of Research and Consultancy, Beauhurst
Henry started and runs Beauhurst’s Research & Consultancy department which produces research on the UK’s startups and scaleups. He has worked on briefs for clients including the British Business Bank, HM Treasury, BEIS and Innovate UK. Henry is an expert on business finance, entrepreneurship and innovation and regularly gives presentations on market trends at events around the country. He studied Classics at the University of Oxford.

James is Head of M&A at RSM UK and co-leads the media and technology sector within the M&A team. James has over 17 years’ experience with a focus on private company M&A. He works with clients to deliver a wide range of services including advising on company sales, acquisitions, management buyouts and private equity fundraising. In recent times, James has led transactions valued in excess of £1bn in total in the UK and globally. James has strong experience in the SaaS, IT and telecoms sub-sectors and a niche specialism within additive manufacturing (3D printing).
Partner & Investment Committee member, Vespa Capital
Prior to joining Vespa Capital, David spent two years investing at Maven Capital Partners. David also spent eight years working within the Corporate Finance team at Grant Thornton, with a focus on advising management teams on MBOs/MBIs and debt refinancing transactions. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW) having qualified in 2008.
